Documentation of downtown Stuttgart during the Covid lockdown, whose restaurant and store owners had to get creative to keep the business going.

1.5 meters – A new social distance that feels unfamiliar, but only has a physical effect and otherwise welds us closer together.

Within these 1.5 meters and the regulations, ideas and concepts are born, that use the play space instead of being deterred by it.

Under the name 1.5m Spielraum (play space), the creative temporary solutions in Stuttgart are documented and portrayed.
